Cingular & its Customer Support

The fact that I had to call the cust. support is definitely a negative. they had a discrepancy on my bill and charged me more than double the normal amount. They forgot that I had additional 200 minutes!
But once i called them, everything then on was pretty smooth. She credited the amount back to me, fixed my last name (i should someday write on how everyone misspells my last name despite spelling it out to them or writing it), and sent some email to someone to unlock my phone.
Apparently, they are having some billing issues with their new billing system - Working at PayPal, I have now realized how good a job we do to avoid such mishaps. Very few people realize that and they keep cribbing that paypal sucks. But on a day to day basis, dealing with millions of dollars, it is a tough job to NOT lose such money or bill people incorrectly.
One more note about cingular: after noticing the discrepancy on my credit card statement, i tried to login and check the cingular website, but it kept failing for few days until today. So much for a website's uptime in the jet age.
